A Journey To Self-Discovery:

I’m MidiRiots.

I’ve always been a daydreamer, fantasizing about creating my own video games. As a child, I loved drawing and composing my own video game melodies.

Unfortunately, I never felt supported by my family in pursuing my creativity, which led to a lack of courage to follow my dreams. As a result, I tried to live a life where I never truly felt like I belonged. I tried many things—went back to school to earn a higher degree, studied, studied again, and so on.

But every achievement I attained felt like it wasn’t really mine.

It was only a matter of time before I experienced burnout, which led to depression.
It was a tough time, but I realized that every crisis also presents an opportunity to rethink, reevaluate, and change the situation we’re in. So, I made it my mission to finally live my own life, free from society’s “standards.”

Though I grew up in a multi-cultural environment, traveling to other countries greatly broadened my perspective. I learned that what’s considered “normal” in one country doesn’t necessarily mean the same in another. Every culture has its own unique rules, traditions, beliefs, standards, ways of living, behaving, and communicating with one another. There’s so much variety between borders.

One day, I made the decision to move to the place of my dreams—an environment I saw as the perfect source of inspiration to start my new life as an artist and create my first video game.
I never expected to meet so many beautiful, talented, and inspiring people there. I made friends and created unforgettable memories, for which I will always be grateful.
